Welcome to IVEplay
IVEplay provides a browser extension, a desktop companion app, and a web platform (the "Service") for synchronizing interactive scripts with video content and controlling compatible haptic devices. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the IVE browser extension, the IVE companion app, and the IVE Hub at iveplay.io.
By using any part of the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using IVEplay you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly provide the Service to minors.
What the Service provides
IVEplay consists of:
- IVE browser extension: Detects video players in your browser, lets you float and control videos, and forwards playback to the companion app running on your computer.
- IVE companion app: A desktop application that stores your library, loads interactive scripts, and controls connected haptic devices. Everything operates locally on your device.
- IVE Hub (iveplay.io): A web platform where you can browse the script catalog and access supporter features when signed in with Patreon.
- Script catalog: A database of script metadata, aggregated from public sources and served from our CDN.
IVEplay is a tool and search engine. We do not host, stream, or distribute video content. The scripts and metadata in our catalog link to external sources.
Accounts and signing in
You can use the browser extension and companion app without signing in. To access supporter features on the Hub, you sign in with your Patreon account. We do not maintain our own account database — your session exists only as a signed cookie in your browser.
You are responsible for keeping your Patreon account credentials secure and for all activity under your session.
You can stop using the Service at any time by signing out, which removes your session, and by revoking IVEplay's access in your Patreon account settings. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal in your jurisdiction
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' sessions, or data you are not permitted to access
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of non-open-source parts of the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to bulk-download or redistribute the catalog or Hub content beyond normal personal use
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' experience
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
We reserve the right to suspend access for users who violate these rules, including revoking supporter features.
Content and intellectual property
IVEplay aggregates script metadata from publicly available sources (such as IVDB, EroScripts, FapTap). We do not claim ownership of third-party scripts or video content. All rights remain with their respective creators and rights holders.
If you are a creator and your work appears in the catalog, you can request removal or correction of your entries at any time by contacting us at dmca@iveplay.io — we will honor such requests promptly.
The IVEplay name, logo, extension code, companion app, and website design are owned by IVEplay. You may not use them without permission except as needed to link to or credit the Service.
Copyright and DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content accessible through IVEplay infringes your copyright, please contact us at dmca@iveplay.io with the following information:
- A description of the copyrighted work
- The URL or identifier of the infringing content on our platform
- Your contact information
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized
We will review valid claims promptly and remove or disable access to infringing content where appropriate.
Third-party services and devices
The Service integrates with third-party hardware and platforms including The Handy, Autoblow, Buttplug.io-compatible devices, and Patreon (authentication and supporter verification). These services have their own terms and privacy policies.
IVEplay is not responsible for the operation, availability, or security of third-party services or devices. Use of connected hardware is at your own risk.
When you sign in with Patreon, we verify your supporter status to unlock features. Your session data lives only in a cookie in your browser — see our Privacy Policy.
Patreon and premium features
Some Hub features are available only to users who support IVEplay through Patreon. Your Patreon tier determines which features you can access. These features may change over time.
Payments are handled entirely by Patreon — IVEplay does not process payments directly. For billing questions, refunds, or subscription management, please contact Patreon.
Catalog access
The script catalog is provided for personal use with the Service. You may not bulk-scrape, mirror, or redistribute the catalog or use it to build competing services without our permission.
We may change the catalog's format, content, or availability at any time without notice.
Software updates
The companion app checks for updates and can install new versions with your confirmation. We may release updates to add features, fix bugs, or maintain compatibility between the extension and the companion. We recommend staying on the latest version, but you are not required to update.
Disclaimers
The Service — including the extension, the companion app, and the Hub — is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or website.
IVEplay does not host or control the video content you watch. We are a tool that synchronizes scripts with videos you access independently. We make no representations about third-party content.
You are solely responsible for how you use connected devices. IVEplay is not liable for any physical injury, device damage, or other harm that may result from device usage.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IVEplay and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, device damage, or damages arising from third-party services or content. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $0 if you have not made any payments.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. You can uninstall the extension and companion app, sign out, and revoke IVEplay's access in your Patreon settings whenever you want.
We may suspend or block access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we need to do so for legal or security reasons. If we do, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you unless prohibited by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the website or our Discord community. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be handled by the Norwegian courts.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to do so later.
IVEplay is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to outages of third-party services, network failures, or natural disasters.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and IVEplay regarding the Service.
